14 DAY TRIAL // Chris Metzen, the franchise development director working at Blizzard, says that the coming Legacy of the Void installment in the Starcraft 2 series will bear some similarities with the movie 300, with a small force engaging a much more powerful threat in desperate last stand.
The developer tells PC Gamer that, “There’s a 300 component to the third one where the mighty rise, and start pushing back against the shadow.”
Both Sarah Kerrigan and Jim Raynor will be important for Legacy of the Void, but it seems that much of the game will focus on the ultimate threat to the universe and how the factions we know can fight it.
Blizzard says that it is already working on the game, which will bring the Protoss race to the forefront and will wrap up the story.
