Ubisoft didn't bring its recently announced Splinter Cell: Blacklist to Gamescom 2012 last week, but the French company did show off a special extended version of the gameplay video we got to admire back at E3 2012 in June, complete with commentary from the Creative Director, Maxime Beland.

Ubisoft's Splinter Cell series went into an interesting direction with the previous Conviction and now, with Blacklist, the publisher is continuing on this new path by pitting protagonist Sam Fisher against a new type of terrorist organization that's planning a series of attacks against the U.S.

We already saw a cinematic trailer and a gameplay video back at E3 2012 and now the French publisher has released another batch of footage, this time showing off even more gameplay from Blacklist.

What's more, it also features commentary from the game's Creative Director, Maxime Beland, who sheds even more light on the features of Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

As of yet, the stealth action game has only a spring 2013 release date.
