Gamers will have to get used to failure and restarts

Space Hulk is one of the most interesting concepts in the Games Workshop board game arsenal and the development team at Full Control aims to translate the experience to the PC for the first time in decades while keeping the punishing difficulty level unchanged.

Thomas Lund from Full Control Studios tells Rock, Paper, Shotgun that, “You will fail three out of four times.”

He adds, “Space Hulk is not about making things easy. Games like this should challenge us. Space Hulk is about failing.”

Space Hulk sees teams of Terminator Space Marines assault one of the giant abandoned vessels of the Warhammer 40,000 universe, which is occupied by massive numbers of Tyranid Gene Stealers.

The entire experience will be turn based and the team wants to launch it before the end of the year.
