Wireless carrier Three UK confirmed today plans to add the newly announced Sony Xperia SP smartphone to its offering.

The company even published a video preview of the device, available for your viewing pleasure above, though it did not offer specific details on when it would land on its network.

The new Xperia SP was announced with a 4.6-inch 720p HD screen and a 1.7GHz dual-core processor inside, as well as with 1GB of RAM and with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

It also features 8GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, and a 2370 mAh battery inside, along with the usual set of connectivity capabilities.

Running under Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, the smartphone will hit the market with 4G LTE connectivity inside, and Three UK’s customers will be able to take advantage of that as well.
