UK wireless services provider Three has made a new Sony mobile phone running under Google’s Android operating system available for purchase on its airwaves, none other than the high-end Xperia S smartphone.

The handset was added to the carrier’s offering on March 7th, though users were able to purchase it only through the Three stores around the country.

Today, however, the smartphone is available online as well, and those who would like to buy one without leaving the comfort of their homes can head over to the company’s web store for that.

Xperia S can be purchased for free on the carrier’s plans, starting at £33 per month. It has also been released on the company’s One plan at £36 per month.

The handset arrives on shelves with a HD Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, complemented by a 1.5GHz dual-core application processor and 32GB of internal memory. The mobile phone also comes with a 12 megapixel photo snapper with Exmor R sensor + HD video, and is NFC compatible.
