14 DAY TRIAL // Sony Ericsson Xperia active has just been priced in India, as customers can pre-order the rugged Android smartphone via Flipkart. The major retailer priced the phone at Rs 19,990 (about $405 or 300 EUR) and states that the first stock is expected to arrive in the fourth week of October.
Customers who pre-order the Xperia active now will also receive a free Bluetooth headset that can be used with the smartphone.
As the name suggests, the handset is aimed at active people and offers the advantages of Google's latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
Xperia active is equipped with a 1 GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor and packs 1 GB of internal memory (only 320 MB user available), 512 MB of RAM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 2GB memory card included).
