Sony Ericsson has been long rumored to plan the release of a new high-end smartphone running under Google’s Android operating system, one that would hit shelves as 'Xperia Arc HD’, and a new photo with the device is now available for your viewing pleasure.

Codenamed Nozomi, the new mobile phone is expected to make an official appearance at the Consumer Electronics Show in January next year.

Before that happens, however, you can have a look at the device in a new photo that emerged over in Hong Kong (via techorz), where it already reached carrier testing, rumor has it.

It follows a press photo that emerged with the phone only a few days ago and shows that there would be more than a single color flavor released.

The new device should sport a slim body, along with a refreshed Xperia UI, while running under Android 2.3.5, though it should get a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich soon after.
