The development team working on the newly announced Sonic Lost World says that it is planning to introduce a number of unique features on the Nintendo 3DS version of the title.

The game will be the first in the series to introduce full 3D levels on handhelds and gamers will be able to use a number of Color Powers that are exclusive to the device, says AllGamesBeta.

The motion sensor will also come into play as gamers are challenged to explore a number of new special stages to get access to Chaos Emeralds.

Radio controlled gadgets can also be created via touch in order to help Sonic battle the Deadly Six and players will be able to share them with the Wii U version of the game.

The new game supports multiplayer both locally and online.

Sonic Lost World will also be offered on the Wii U and will be launched before the end of 2013.
