SolusOS, a modern operating system based on the popular Linux distribution, Debian, which works out of the box, with great support for all modern-day computing needs, is now at version 2 Alpha 3.
SolusOS 2 Alpha 3 is based on GNOME Classic Desktop Environment 3.4 that was heavily modified to look and act as Gnome 2.

• Mozilla Firefox was updated to version 13.0; • Mozilla Thunderbird was updated to version 13.0; • LibreOffice was updated to version 3.5.4; • Linux kernel 3.3.6 (with BFS/preempt); • SolusOS GNOME Classic 3.3.4; • Openshot was updated to version 1.4.2; • VLC was updated to version 2.0.1; • A lot of new applications have been added to the repository.
