14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Maxis and publisher Electronic Arts are launching a new video linked to the Cities of tomorrow expansion for SimCity, which shows off the beautiful new style for buildings and reveals more about coming gameplay changes.
Stone Librande, the lead designer working on the project, explains how gamers can create the new Mega Towers, which include more than one zone, and how new specializations like The Academy and OmegaCo work.
Cities of Tomorrow is designed to expand the options that players have when creating their regions, giving them futuristic buildings and businesses to work with, including MagLev trains and new laser tech.
The SimCity expansion will be launched on November 12 in North America and three days later in Europe.
Maxis and EA have suggested that the game might also be opened up for mods soon, but have ruled out the possibility of bigger zones.
