14 DAY TRIAL // Owners of a Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone in the United States can now take advantage of the wireless charging capabilities of the device, as the South Korean mobile phone maker made available for purchase the wireless charging kit for the device.
Based on the Qi wireless charging standard, the kit includes a Qi-enabled charging cover, which costs $39.99 (€30), as well as a charging pad, priced at $49.99 (€38).
However, given that the Qi standard is already present in other charging solutions out there, users who own one could try purchasing only the plate for their Galaxy S4 handsets, thus saving fifty bucks, as samsung-updates notes in a recent post.
Although already listed on Samsung’s US website, here and here, respectively, the Wireless Charging Cover and Wireless Charging Pad appear to be out of stock at the moment, though they should become available for purchase soon.
