A rumor was popped up suggesting that Crytek is already working on Kinect powered action game called Ryse that will be launched on the next Microsoft made home console.

The information supporting the rumors comes from the LinkedIn profile of the senior level designer, who has since left Crytek to join Ubisoft and work on another project.

Ryse is mentioned as being an X-Box Next Gen game but no other information on the title is given.

A poster on the game oriented NeoGAF forums also recalled attending a student lecture on the abilities of the CryEngine 3 technology and hearing a developer talk about Ryse and the way the game would take full advantage of next generation hardware.

Both Crytek and Microsoft refused to comment on rumors and speculation regarding the Xbox 720 and Ryse.

Ryse was initially referred to as Codename Kingdoms and features gladiators engaged in some sort of contest.

Microsoft is rumored to be ready to show off its new game console at E3 2012.
