14 DAY TRIAL // In a less than two years, British actor Robert Pattinson has become one of the biggest stars now working in cinema. With such a reputation also comes incredible fame and, with it, even more incredible fan stories.
In his most recent appearance on Ellen DeGeneres, Robert shares some hilarious fan stories made possible thanks to “Twilight” and admits he will never quite get accustomed to the exposure he’s getting.
As the video below will confirm, which was posted on Ellen’s official webpage only hours ago, Pattinson is welcomed to the stage like a true superstar – with the screaming of the ladies not ceasing even a few full minutes after he sits down.
“The first time the [gorgeous] Robert Pattinson was here, ‘Twilight’ hadn’t yet been released. A lot has changed since then! Today the scream-inducing actor chatted with Ellen about all the attention he’s getting, and shares some hilarious fan stories,” Ellen writes.
Among these stories is also one about a woman who gave him her child and wanted him to keep it, which doesn’t fail to cause quite an impression on the host of the talk show, Ellen.
However, Pattinson finds a way out of what could have been an awkward situation (like a discussion about the mental health of the fan who gave her baby up) by making a few jokes about how he kept it, renamed it and overall became quite fond of the kid.
Pattinson then recalls another funny bit regarding a fan, the only difference being that he made this one happen, though inadvertently. Fans must know the story already, since this isn’t the first time that he talks about it.
It happened during an autograph signing, Robert recalls, after he’d already signed about 500 autographs and smiled for about as many pictures with his fans.
At one point, a woman approached him and asked him, as he was putting his signature on a piece of paper, what she could do to get his undivided attention, even if for just a few seconds.
To this, Pattinson replied (as a joke, he says) that she could take her clothes off – which the fan immediately set off to do, only to be carried off the premises by the actor’s bodyguards.
To this day, the British heartthrob says, he feels sorry for having put the woman in such a bad spot, since he only meant it as a joke. Check out the video of Pattinson’s latest appearance on Ellen below. Enjoy.
