14 DAY TRIAL // A few moments ago, Realtek has made available a new Ethernet driver targeted at its network interface controllers, namely version 7.080, which is compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 7 (both 32- and 64-bit variants) operating system, as well as with the Server 2008 R2 platform.
This newly released update is targeted at Realtek’s PCIe Fast and Gigabit Ethernet family controllers, as well as at the PCI Gigabit Ethernet network devices. In addition to that, the 7.080 version is covered by the US6,570,884, US6,115,776, and US6,327,625 patents.
As for installing this release, the producer has made available 2 download records, namely a driver-only archive (900kbs) and an installation package (5.90 MB), and the steps for applying them are very easy.
