A brand new report has appeared on the web concerning the upcoming Sony PlayStation 4, confirming that the new console will be bundled with an upgraded version of the PlayStation Eye device, which will now be called the Dual Camera.

Sony is expected to present to the world the next generation PlayStation console on February 20 at a special event in New York City.

Until then, plenty of rumors have appeared, including a report from VGLeaks, which claims that a new iteration of the PlayStation Eye camera will be bundled with the PlayStation 4.

The device, now called a Dual Camera, will feature two wide-angle cameras as well as a four microphone array that will detect the head and hands of the users as well as their voices.

It's unclear if the Dual Camera will support full body tracking, like Microsoft's Kinect, but it will support video chat and even recognize different users and sign them into their accounts automatically.
