Goichi Suda, best known to gamers as Suda51, says that the PlayStation 4 home console opens up a lot of possibilities for developers and that he is excited by the video games he can create on the new Sony device.

In a Famitsu column translated by Edge, the developer says, “Thinking about the future of this stuff and then constructing and outputting something appealing is our job as game designers, and from that challenge we can take new strength.”

He adds, “Now we have to decide how to find our own victories within that and present games that express the Grasshopper world.”

Suda51 is best known for his work on No More Heroes and Shadows of the Damned.

His current project is called Killer is Dead and is expected to arrive on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.

It’s unclear what kind of video game the developer is preparing for the PlayStation 4.
