Mobile phone maker Samsung has just announced the availability of a pink version of the Galaxy Note smartphone on its homeland market, South Korea.

The new version of this Android-powered device should appeal more to women due to its Berry Pink hue, which was applied both on the smartphone itself and on the S Pen.

The Pink Galaxy Note is expected to arrive on shelves in other countries as well in the coming weeks.

Samsung already managed to sell over five million Galaxy Note units since the handset’s official release, in November last year.

As the largest smartphone in the world, this device was expected to become popular only among a reduced number of enthusiasts, yet it seems that it might prove more successful than that, especially with a new color available on shelves.
