JC Penney rolls out billboard advertising a tea kettle resembling Adolf Hitler

True, you have to stretch your imagination to notice the resemblance, but once it hits you, there is no denying that what is seen cannot be unseen.

JC Penney has recently rolled out a billboard meant to advertise a tea kettle.

I can only assume that, when setting up this billboard, the thought that their kettle would come to stand out for all the wrong reasons never really crossed their minds.

As noticeable in the two pictures above, this tea kettle might have a cool-touch handle and a space-saving design, but many people only paid attention to it because it looks strikingly similar to Adolf Hitler.

There's the salute, there's the pose, there's even the trademark mustache. And the hair. Must not forget the hair.

The billboard can be seen on Interstate 405 close to Culver City, California. The retailer is yet to drop by and take it down, but something tells me the billboard won't be around for much longer.
