The popular Peel application for Android devices has just been updated with support for more smartphones and tablets. In addition, the developers added some bug fixes and visual improvements.

Peel provides Android users with the ability to find their favorite TV show while on the move. With Peel, users can browse TV shows by genre, or Movies and Sports categories.

Even though the application was only compatible with devices running Android 2.2 Froyo and lower, the latest update brings support for Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

According to devs, the update also fixes a crash on the HTC EVO 4G and a few other phones, when OpenGL rendering is enabled. As we mentioned earlier some UI improvements have been included as well.

Peel 2.0.3 is now available as a free download via Google Play and it should be fully compatible with devices running Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and up.
