Funimation and Prodution I.G. have released an official trailer for the Mass Effect anime, called Paragon Lost, which is set to be launched on both DVD and Blu-ray support on November 13 all over the world.

The trailer is narrated by the voice of Vega, one of the new squad mates introduced for the third game in the series, and talks about the challenges that the special soldiers who move up to the N7 team will have to face in the galaxy-wide battle against the Reaper.

The graphics style used by Paragon Lost is very close to that of old-school anime and the plot will serve as a prequel to the events seen in Mass Effect 3.

BioWare seems to be keen on translating its core franchises to the anime space, with Paragon Lost joining previously released Dawn of the Seeker, linked to Dragon Age.

All those who want to make sure that they get Paragon Lost on launch day can place a pre-order on Amazon.
