Konami has confirmed that it’s going to release the demo for Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 (PES 2013) next week, on July 25, across platforms like the PC, PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.

Electronic Arts’ FIFA series may be dominating the soccer simulator genre but this doesn’t mean that Konami isn’t putting up a fight, as its PES series still commands a loyal following.

Fans will be treated with the demo for the upcoming PES 2013 next week, according to Konami, which revealed that PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 owners would be able to try out its game on July 25.

A total of eight licensed teams are included in the demo, in the form of the Germany, England, Portugal, and Italy national teams, as well as the Santos FC, SC International, Fluminense, and Flamengo teams from South America, which are playable in the Copa Libertadores mode.

Besides this impressive announcement, a special video has also been made available, which you can check out above.
