With Resco Photo Viewer for Symbian

In case you chose a camera phone and want an easy way to organize and track your pictures, Resco Photo Viewer could be the right choice. Much better than the most built-in viewers of Symbian handsets, the application offers an attractive way to share and slide-show your phone's gallery. Furthermore, Photo Viewer is compatible with many image formats (JPG, GIF, animated GIF, BMP, PNG, WBMP, OTA, MBM, TIFF/FAX) and it's extremely snappy. You can comfortably switch between various view modes, zoom, pan or even adjust colors. The slide-shows feature nice transitions effects and can be even accompanied by music.

Either you want to watch your images taken by your built-in camera module, images taken by your digicam, images received via email, MMS, or simply beamed pictures, Resco's Photo Viewer can display any of these, if they're the right format. Moreover images can be viewed (full scale or reduced), zoomed, rotated, edited (adjust colors, brightness, contrast), resized, cropped (save image cut-outs), exchanged (via MMS, email, Bluetooth or infrared) or managed (copy, move, rename, delete).

Control of the application can be done by simply using the phone's keypad as shortcut. A map of all the keys are available in the manual.  For those who own one of the latest Symbian phones with geo-tagging function, Resco Photo Viewer offers full compatibility. If you have such an image (stored as part of the Exif info), you can use the menu to launch Google Maps in the web browser pointing to the related location. Alternatively the GPS location can be saved in the landmarks database and used by other application such as Google Maps.
Assigning images to your phonebook contacts or setting an image as wallpaper should be very easy with Resco's Photo Viewer. The application is available for 14.95USD and it's well worth the money. Also, a full 14-day trial version is available, after which you will need to register the software.
