No more Tunny snapshots, although the code name remains

It is shiny with all shades of new. It looks like Opera needed only two tries to bring out a stable version 11.60 of their browser.

The release has been greatly improved, as it received a brand new HTML engine, Presto 2.10, implemented the HTML5 parsing algorithm (Ragnarök) and brings to the table a redesigned email client.

Additionally, web specification support has been extended and now there is full support for ECMAScript 5.1 and radial-gradient and repeated-radial-gradient.

For those that watched the snapshot releases of Opera Tunny, the changes touted in this release do not come as a surprise, but the general public should notice a great the difference when compared to version 11.52.

What the regular user will experience with the stable version of Opera 11.60 is better support for the modern web.
