Last week, Indonesian technology information agency Postel listed a new Olympus camera model (E-M10) as an approved Wi-Fi device. The Olympus E-M10 is the successor of E-M5 and comes with the same image processor as the E-M1, as well as the current E-M5 sensor.

According to the latest rumors, the E-M5 will not be discontinued immediately after the E-M10 hits the market and it will still be available for purchase, possibly until Photokina 2014.

To make the camera's price more appealing, Olympus has decided to slash about 13% from the E-M5 with M.Zuiko ED 45mm f1.8 lens kit's original price of $1,438.97 / €1,052, bringing it down to $1,249.99 / €915. That's almost a $200 / €135 discount of which you can take advantage if you purchase the camera during the promotional period.

The Olympus E-M5 comes with a 16.1MP image sensor, 5-axis stabilization, 3'' tilt touch LCD, 1080i Full HD video capturing capabilities, and weather sealed body. If you want to take advantage of this offer you should head to the official Olympus online store and place your order. Please keep in mind that this offer is valid for US customers only.
