With computer parts getting smaller and smaller, it is no surprise that someone dreamed up the sunglasses-MP3 player combo back in 2005. Oakley, the maker of extreme eye-wear, came out with a concept that materialized under the name of Oakley Thump. Today, you can customize the Oakley Thump Pro MP3 sunglasses (the follow on to the Oakley Thump shades evidently) before you buy them.

Using their online confusing "configurator", you can choose your frame color, lens color, icons and even the etched phrase on the lenses. They come with either 256 MB (60 songs), 512 MB (120 songs) or 1 GB (240 songs), of storage. There's also an exclusive custom case for $35.

You have to plug them into your computer's USB jack so that you can zap MP3's from the computer directly to them. Then, just put on your shades, stick the earbuds in your ears and head out to the slopes. It's definitely made for snowboarders and mountain bikers who want to tune in to the newest hits while checking out the great outdoors. The shades practically mean one less gizmo to carry around. Plus, they come with a rechargeable battery that lasts up to six hours.

Here are some specs. The frame is sweat resistant and comes with Unobtainum components that increase grip on your head while the shades come with HDO (High Definition Optics) lenses. The lenses are fully interchangeable so you can optimize vision for any sport environment. The glasses are compatible with iTunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp and other popular music jukebox programs that use AAC, MP3 or even Audible file format.

Yours for $345.
