Yesterday, Nokia added a new page to its US website, teasing to the world the yet unannounced Nokia Lumia 928, and has updated the page today, so as to provide some more info on the device.

The smartphone appears set to hit shelves with an 8.7-megapixel photo snapper on the back, the same as the Lumia 920, which confirms that the new smartphone will be, in fact, a new version of the already available smartphone.

Furthermore, the company published a new photo that shows the Windows Phone 8 device, which appears meant to deliver a glimpse at the outer design that it will sport when launched.

The updated page also links to a video teaser that we spotted earlier, which showed the handset’s video recording capabilities in low-light conditions, and which also compared it against the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S III.

As mynokiablog notes, the smartphone features the codename of Nokia Laser, and can also be seen on a mirror site, here.
