Recently, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has made available a software update to improve the camera functionality on its first Windows Phone, the Lumia 800.

However, it appears that the update did not fix all the issues that the phone’s camera might have had, and that Nokia is gearing up for the release of a new software update for the mobile phone.

No specific info on the update has been made available until now, but Damian Dinning, head of imaging experience at Nokia, confirmed its upcoming availability via Twitter.

“We are working on some improvements. No details to share at the moment,” he said.

Lumia 800 came to the market with Carl Zeiss optics, but a series of issues that reside with its software prevented it from delivering the performance that users had been expecting.
