Starting today, mobile phone users in the Philippines can purchase yet another Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone, in the form of Nokia Lumia 930.

The handset was released in the country in three color flavors, namely Black, Bright Orange, and White, and features a price tag of PHP 29,990 ($692/€514).

The mobile phone was made official back in April as Nokia’s flagship Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone and has already arrived on shelves in various markets out there.

Nokia Lumia 930 comes with a 5-inch AMOLED touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution (with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating), while being powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor.

It also features 2GB of RAM inside, which should ensure appealing performance capabilities, as well as 32GB of internal memory. Unfortunately, a microSD memory card slot was not included inside the device, and users can not expand the available storage space this way.

On the back, the mobile phone features a 20-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual-LED flash, Optical Image Stabilization, and full HD video recording. A 1.2MP front-facing camera with 720p video capabilities was also included in the package.

Nokia Lumia 930 also arrives on shelves with support for 4G LTE networks, as well as with 3G (HSDPA, 42.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps) connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS receiver.

Moreover, the handset is powered by a 2420mAh battery that can deliver up to 15 hours and 30 minutes of talk time, or up to 432 hours of standby time.

On top of that, the handset provides users with all of the features and capabilities that the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system was announced with, such as Action Center, Word Flow, Start Background, Transparent Live Tiles, and more.

The handset also includes a variety of exclusive Nokia and Microsoft apps, like Nokia Camera, Nokia Storyteller, Nokia Creative Studio, MixRadio, HERE Maps, OneDrive, MS Office Tools, Lync, OneNote, and OneLens.

“In today’s social world, capturing and sharing video is more important than ever. The Lumia 930 provides the perfect blend of Microsoft and Lumia to deliver cutting-edge imaging technology for an unrivalled video and imaging experience on a smartphone,” said Karel Holub, General Manager, Microsoft Mobile Devices, Philippines, Nokia Revolution reports.

“Our customers want to stay in the moment and capture detail-rich videos without having to compromise on image or sound quality. With beautifully integrated Microsoft and Lumia experiences, the Lumia 930 is a leading smartphone that will allow people to capture full HD video with astonishing details like never before.”
