Microsoft continues to roll out the Nokia Lumia 930, its best Windows Phone 8.1 handset, and while the company was forced to delay the smartphone in a few countries, it looks like other countries got it earlier.

For example, the Lumia 930 was delayed in Russia for abount a week or so, but those who pre-ordered got a voucher worth $35 (€25) that can be used to purchase apps and games via Windows Phone Store.

But in Norway, some customers who pre-ordered the Lumia 930 will be getting their devices earlier than originally announced. WPCentral reports that Elkjøp, a local major retailer, is now shipping Lumia 930 pre-orders which should have happened on July 10 at the earliest.

Nokia Lumia 930 is available in Norway for 4,495 Norwegian Krone outright, which is about $735 or €530. Unfortunately, it’s unclear whether Elkjøp is now shipping all Lumia 930 pre-orders or just part of them.

The smartphone is expected to arrive in other European countries in the next few days, but Microsoft also confirmed that the Lumia 930 would be available for purchase in several Asian countries and Australia beginning this month.

One of the few Nokia Lumia phones ships with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system out of the box. Specs-wise, the Lumia 930 is one of the best Windows Phone handsets available on the market.

The device is armed with a powerful 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

Even though Nokia Lumia 930 lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion, the smartphone packs no less than 32GB of storage. On the more positive side, users will get some free cloud storage via OneDrive.

Another strong point of the Lumia 930 would be the hyper-vibrant 5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

And things are getting even better, as Nokia Lumia 930 boasts an impressive 20-megapixel rear-facing camera, which features Carl Zeiss lens, autofocus, dual-LED flash, OIS (optical image stabilization) and full HD (1080p) video recording.

On the front, the smartphone sports a 1.2-megapixel secondary camera that should be enough for video call and selfies. The front-facing camera can also record HD videos.

Last but not least, Nokia Lumia 930 is powered by a 2420 mAh battery, which should provide up to 430 hours of standby time or up to 11 hours of talk time (up to 15 hours in 3G mode).
