The new Hitman game will not get any stealth trailers because the audience would not be interested in slow moving tactical infiltration and like to see teasers with fast and loud action sequences that feature Agent 47.

Luke Valentine, a producer working on Hitman: Absolution, told Eurogamer that, “The trailers do look more action focused. The thing is, what do you do when you’re marketing a video game? How do you make a trailer of stealth? How do you make a trailer of Hitman observing AI patterns or sitting in cover for a minute? No-one would watch it.”

The developer says previous installments in the game were similarly marketed and that the promotional efforts influence the nature of the game itself in no way, which has plenty of stealth sections that will satisfy longtime fans.

Hitman: Absolution will be launched during November on the PC, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.
