Neither the Xbox One nor the PlayStation 4 will reach this level of integration

Charlie Scibetta, a senior director in charge of communications at Nintendo, says that the second screen implementation offered by the Wii U GamePad is the best in gaming at the moment and leads to some solid gaming experiences.

He tells ShackNews that “For Nintendo, having the second screen built right into the hardware means there’s no learning curve, no lag, no technology curve to try and figure out how to use it.”

The executive also had a small dig at Microsoft and Sony, who are also talking about second screen technology for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, via SmartGlass and the Vita handheld.

Unfortunately, fans have not been impressed by the second screen capabilities of the Wii U, and sales of the home console have lagged behind initial projections.
