While Uncharted: Golden Abyss is the first game in the series to appear on a platform other than the PlayStation 3, it doesn’t mean that the title has skimped on the quality of its cinematics, as Sony has just presented a couple of videos that focus on its motion capture process.

The Uncharted games for the PS3 delighted lots of gamers with their great graphics and impressive stories, not to mention their stunning cinematics that were modeled after intense motion capture sessions.

Now, in order to show that nothing has changed in terms of production values for the upcoming Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Sony has posted a couple of videos with the motion capture process for the new PlayStation Vita game.

Above, you can see the protagonist of the series, Nathan Drake, once again interacting with his longtime mentor, Victor Sullivan, in a pretty funny sequence. Below, there’s a more intense session, as Drake has a heated discussion with one of the new characters from Golden Abyss, Jason Dante. There are a few spoilers in this second video, however, so you might want to avoid it.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss is out for the PlayStation Vita next month, on February 22.
