14 DAY TRIAL // Video game publisher Electronic Arts has launched a new trailer for its Syndicate first person shooter which introduces modern gamers to the history of the series and shows off some comparisons between the classic games and the modern remake.
Syndicate was long been rumored to be remade by Electronic Arts and the official reveal arrived last month, alongside an official trailer which showed how characters will be able to mind hack enemies and shoot around corners.
The series began life as a mix between tactics and strategy under the direction of Bullfrog but the modern game will be a first person shooter with some gameplay innovations.
It's not clear whether players will be able to adjust the load-out of their characters or make other long term decisions.
The game is set to be launched in early 2012 on the PC, the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the Xbox 360 from Microsoft.
