Nintendo has confirmed that, while it won't hold a huge press conference for fans at E3 2013, it will showcase via special Direct videos some great Wii U games like the new Smash Bros., a 3D Mario title, and Mario Kart.

Nintendo surprised quite a few people earlier this month when it confirmed that it won't hold a big conference at E3 2013 this June. Instead, the company will organize smaller gatherings and will share details about different games through its special Direct videos.

Now, the company's President Satoru Iwata has revealed the different titles that will be presented during the Direct videos.

According to his Twitter, Wii U owners can check out footage from the new Smash Bros. and Mario Kart games, but also from the upcoming 3D Mario experience that hasn't been detailed just yet.

It's unclear when Nintendo will launch its Direct videos before E3 2013, but you can expect to see more details surface as we get closer to June.
