This year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is expected to bring along new versions of Opera Mini and Opera Mobile browsers.

Opera has already announced plans on the matter, and that there will also be more social features included in the new browser iterations.

However, the company did not offer specific info on what other changes would be included in the new versions of its apps.

“Opera will also be making an announcement related to mobile payments which will democratize the area by bringing it to not just smartphone users,” the company announced, Android Central reports.

At the moment, Opera is the largest player when it comes to mobile browsing, with over 160 million active monthly users all around the world. Its applications are available on leading smartphone platforms out there, including Android, BlackBerry and Symbian, as well as on feature phones.
