The development teams at Polyphony Digital and publisher Sony are delivering a new promotional trailer for the upcoming Gran Turismo 6, which focuses on the GT Academy program and the opportunities that it offers to fan drivers.

Those who have a PlayStation 3 home console can download the demo of the game and then use it in order to qualify for the Academy program, which has since launch taken drivers to the top of the racing circuit.

The new trailer features some of the success stories, but unfortunately does not introduce too much new footage or information about Gran Turismo 6 as a game.

The new racing title is set to arrive exclusively on the PS3 and will include more than 1,000 car variations and 33 tracks with different configurations for players to race on.
