NVIDIA has released the Quadro/Tesla Graphics Driver version 307.83 which is compatible with Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista, and 7 operating systems, and moreover, it is WHQL certified. This package will improve performance compared to previous versions, and will fix some workstation compatibility issues as well.

In addition, NVIDIA Display Driver Service (nvvsvc.exe) and Stereoscopic 3D Driver Service (nvSCPAPISvr.exe) will receive some security updates, and CUDA 5.0, pixel black level adjustment, and NVWMI 2.7 advanced profile support has been added.

As for the bad part, AutoCAD Performance package no longer comes within the graphics driver (although there are downloadable standalone versions), and Quadro SDI products are not supported with Microsoft’s latest OS any more.

So, if you consider updating, before you do, you should know that NVIDIA recommend uninstalling the nTune feature as well as disabling SLI Mosaic Mode, so as to complete the installation without any problems. Afterwards, you can come back to the original configuration.

Also, if you are installing this version over a previous one without removing it, rebooting the system after the process is complete is strongly recommended so that the changes can take effect.

This said, follow the link below and choose the one that is compatible with your system’s OS.
