Motorola RAZR is a real globetrotter, as the smartphone makes headlines in various regions of the world. The latest country to receive the RAZR is Israel.

Motorola fans can now purchase the RAZR from Cellcom, Partner and soon by Pelephone. However, the manufacturer has yet to unveil the phone’s price options, though these will probably be announced by the authorized sellers.

The smartphone is indeed “impossibly thin and lightweight,” at only 7.1mm thick and 127g (battery included).

Those who think that everything that goes over 100g cannot be considered lightweight should know that Motorola RAZR is made of premium materials that allows it to withstand scratches, scrapes and water splashes.

"Coinciding with the global launch, Motorola Mobility is proud to present Motorola RAZR in Israel, a unique smartphone that encapsulates slick design with the most advanced features in the scene. We are convinced that it will become a huge success in Israel," says Kobi Kalif, country manager, Motorola Mobility Israel.

The phone’s back cover is made of KEVLAR fiber, the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass display, while the insides and outsides of the device are protected by splash-guard coating.

It boasts a stunning 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors support and 540 x 960 pixels resolution, which provides users vivid and crisp images.

Motorola empowered the RAZR with a fast 1.2 GHz dual core TI OMAP 4430 processor, a PowerVR SGX540 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

On the inside, the smartphone packs 16 GB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Although Motorola RAZR is powered by Android 2.3.5, the handset maker announced that the device will receive the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in early 2012.

It is also worth mentioning that the RAZR comes bundled with the Motorola MotoCast app, allowing users to stream or download content from their home or work computer directly to their device.
