We already reported yesterday that Canadian carrier Virgin Mobile is recruiting Motorola MOTOLUXE testers, which points to a possible release within the next few weeks.

Well, it looks like the folks over at MobileSyrup have just got it confirmed that the MOTOLUXE will arrive at Bell Canada on May 22. It's almost certain that the smartphone will be launched at Virgin Mobile around the same time frame.

Rumor has it that the MOTOLUXE will be available for purchase for $300 CAD outright, but we don't have any info yet on other pricing options.

Motorola MOTOLUXE will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board and MotoSwitch UI. In addition, the smarpthone will be equipped with an 800 MHz single core processor, 1GB of ROM, 512MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Other highlights of the phone included a large 4.0-inch capacitive touchscreen display (480 x 854 pixels), as well as an impressive 8-megapixel rear photo snapper.
