Moto X, the recently announced Android smartphone from Motorola, is now available for pre-order in the United States via Best Buy, with contract agreements on AT&T, Sprint and Verizon.

Just as Motorola unveiled last week, the smartphone is available at $199 (€150) with the signing of a two-year deal with any of the aforementioned carriers and sports 16GB of internal memory. The phone's full retail price tag has been set at $699.99 (€527).

For the time being, however, no specific info on when the handset starts shipping to users has been provided, as AndroidAuthority notes.

Packing a 4.7-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 720p resolution, the device is powered by the Motorola X8 computing system paired with 2GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the smartphone shows off a 10MP photo snapper on the back, front camera for video calling, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, NFC and a 2200 mAh lithium-ion battery.

Those of you interested in reserving the handset through Best Buy should head over to this page on the retailer’s website.
