After quite a bit of waiting, Warner Bros. has confirmed that Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition is now available for the PC platform via Steam, delivering the popular fighting experience that amazed PS3 and Xbox 360 owners back in 2011.

Mortal Kombat as a franchise seemed doomed, but developer NetherRealm, together with Warner Bros., brought it back to life with the simply-titled Mortal Kombat.

Now, the two companies worked with High Voltage Software to port the experience onto the PC platform.

The new Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition is now available worldwide as a digital download and will hit North America on August 6 as a retail title.

The game includes the base experience as well as all DLC, including extra fighters, bonus skins, and classic fatalities.

The PC edition also supports the use of the Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition fight stick and different gamepads or console controllers.
