Microsoft will soon revamp Windows 8 with 8.1, the first major overhaul that brings quite a lot of improvements to the core OS, but the company continues promoting the platform as the right choice for all users out there.
Some employees, however, admit that Windows 8 isn't quite the perfect OS, but explain that 8.1 brings several useful features.
The Outlook.com team, for example, had some interesting remarks on Windows 8 during an AMA session on Reddit.
“Andrew here, I like it! It's not perfect, but overall it's an improvement over Windows 7. 8.1 adds some nice things too, like unified search and of course the start button,” a member of the team said when asked about his opinion on Windows 8.
At the same time, Microsoft now admits that the Start button is indeed making Windows 8 a lot more familiar for many users, which is a clear indication that the tech giant again has very high expectations from its key product.
