LazywormApps, the company behind the Tweetro+ project, has already submitted its YouTube client for Windows 8 for certification, so the download links could be revealed in just a few days.

The group confirmed in a short statement, a few weeks ago, that it’s working on a new Metro app for Windows 8 that would allow users to watch YouTube clips effortlessly, with the tool said to take full advantage of the new Modern UI.

The application has finally been submitted for certification, so once the tech giant gives its go-ahead, MetroTube should be listed for download for all adopters of the new operating system.

MetroTube will work on both Windows 8 and Windows RT, and will pack the essential features, such as HD video support, Snap View integration and customized portrait experience.
