Deep Silver and 4A Games have revealed the new pre-order bonuses that will be offered with their upcoming Metro: Last Light game, as customers who pre-purchase the game or get its Limited Edition will receive a special Ranger Mode DLC that includes not only a new difficulty, but also a new weapon and 100 military-grade bullets.

Metro: Last Light was initially set to appear next month but after THQ's bankruptcy, Deep Silver took over the rights to the series and quickly decided to delay the game into May in order to ensure a smooth release.

Now, the publisher and its developer have revealed the new pre-order bonuses for Metro: Last Light.

Those who pre-purchase the game ahead of release as well as those who get the Limited Edition will earn a special Ranger Mode DLC that includes a tougher difficulty with limited resources, but also access to an AKSU weapon and 100 military grade bullets that can be used as currency within the world.

Those that don't pre-order Metro: Last Light will still be able to get the Ranger Mode as paid DLC on the day of the game's release, which is May 14 in North America and May 17 in the rest of the world.

Pre-orders for the PC edition will be opened on Steam soon, according to the game's Facebook page.
