Hideo Kojima is interested in the newly updated Kinect for the Xbox One and the SmartGlass technology and might use them both for his coming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, although no details on exactly how are available at the moment.

Gamingbolt quoted the developer as saying in a podcast appearance with Larry Hryb, a community manager from Microsoft, that, “The Kinect itself brings a lot of different capabilities as well and I will like to see what I can do with the voice command, and the movement with the gestures and see what we can do with that.”

The Xbox One is also interesting because of its increased hardware power, which allows Kojima to create a more interesting and complex video game.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be out on the next-gen and current-gen devices in 2014.
