Men of War: Assault Squad 2 is a strategy war game launched back in May 2014. The game received fairly positive reviews, and almost one year after its initial launch, the developers decided that it would be wise to release a DLC as well.

Iron Fist is the first DLC pack for Men of War: Assault Squad 2, and according to publisher 1C Company, it will be available for download beginning February 19. The upcoming DLC will only be launched digitally and will cost €9.99 / $9.99 / £6.99.

Those who already own Men of War: Assault Squad 2, which is required in order to play Iron Fist, will most likely want to know what new features or improvements the new DLC is expected to bring.

Well, according to the official changelog, there isn’t too much content added, though some may be pleased with what the DLC has to offer, such as 5 new single-player skirmishes in which players will fight as a veteran tank crew via the new 3rd person controls.

Speaking of which, the 3rd person direct control feature will be implemented along with the Iron Fist content. In addition, gamers will be able to replay their multiplayer matches and save, load and share them with others on Steam Workshop.

Along with the paid update, some free updates will be added as well

There are also some free updates that will probably be delivered on the same date as the DLC, such as DirectX 10 support, multiplayer spectator slots, unit veterancy, and auto ammo resupply.

The Iron Fist DLC will only need 200MB of available space, while the rest of requirements are the same as for the base game.

Developed by German studio Digitalmindsoft, Men of War: Assault Squad 2 is the sequel to one of the most popular games in the franchise, Men of War: Assault Squad.
