Magic: The Gathering – Tactics players must know that Sony Online has announced that they will be shutting down servers for the online turn-based strategy game on March 28, 2014.

Players that have Magic: The Gathering – Tactics cards should know that the cards that are prior to November 18 will still be accessible through March 28, but no new packs can be purchased as of November 18.

Therefore, if you wanted to have a go at the game, you are out of luck as new accounts can no longer be created. All code and data from Tactics will retained by SOE, meaning that no licensed or authorized emulators or fan servers.

All the Station Cash that players purchased resides in their Station Cash, which is shared across all of the SOE games. Therefore, you can still use Station Cash to items in other SOE games like DC Universe Online, Everquest II and many more.

If by any chance players need more details they will have their questions answered by Customer Service on their page. Also, one can even post any general question in their thread as it will be updated constantly.
