Chinese mobile phone maker Lenovo is reportedly gearing up for the launch of a large Android-based smartphone, one that might sport a 5.3-inch touchscreen display when released.

No official confirmation on the matter has been provided as of now, yet the device has been already spotted online, and some of its hardware specs were unveiled to the world.

According to a recent article on mydrivers, the handset will hit shelves with a quad-core processor packed inside, an MT6589 chip, and might be launched as Lenovo S920.

While the resolution of the 5.3-inch screen is unknown at the moment, the device is said to sport a 2250 mAh battery and to feature Google’s Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean platform on top, with heavy customizations from Lenovo.

No specific info on when the new device might be launched has been provided as of now.
