Nintendo has just confirmed that it's going to release the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 2, a sequel to the classic SNES game, and also presented a special gameplay video as well as a few screenshots of the new 3DS experience.
Super Nintendo Entertainment System owners certainly remember Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and now Nintendo wants to rely on their nostalgia by releasing a direct sequel to that classic experience.
The game will be released for the 3DS at the end of 2013 and features a new storyline as well as fresh dungeons set in the same world as the 1992 original.
Besides fighting traditionally against foes, Link will also be able to transform into a moving wall drawing and solve lots of brand new puzzles that take advantage of the 3DS' special autostereoscopic 3D display.
You can check out a video as well as a few screenshots with the game above and below.
