14 DAY TRIAL // A brand new gameplay video from the upcoming Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor action adventure title has just been released by Monolith and Warner Bros., showing off the impressive Nemesis system in action as well as some intense moments from the new title.
Video games based on the Lord of the Rings universe haven't exactly delighted through their quality, although there have been some notable iterations like Warriors in the North or the Lego titles.
Now, Monolith wants to bring a truly remarkable experience with Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, which focuses on Talion, a ranger with Wraith-like abilities that can force enemies to fight for him, even brutish orcs and other monsters.
In order to show off this special mechanic in action, a brand new gameplay video has appeared online from Monolith and Warner Bros. that shows Talion exploring his abilities by fighting a huge variety of enemies.
What's more intriguing is that the game will have quite a few open levels in which players can also enslave brutish monsters like ogres, not to mention Wargs that can be used to traverse the battlefield.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is set to debut on October 7 for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms. You can expect to hear more about it during E3 2014 next month.
